Hot Diggity is the only all-female bluegrass band currently in New Zealand. With members from as far north as Dargaville and Whangarei and as far south New Plymouth, they don’t play too many concerts, so this is a real treat. Featuring original songs, mandolin and vocal from Heather Carrigan, more original songs, guitar and vocals from Deb Mackenzie, double bass and vocals from Jenine Abarbanel, Sue Drake on the banjo and Krissy Jackson on fiddle. Hot Diggity has only been playing together for a year and have already built up quite a following. This weekend they will be working up new material for their repertoire, so you will get first listen to some great new songs.
