July Folk Club night with the Dirt Road Orchestra

July club night is Monday the 27th, and our very special guests are Dirt Road Orchestra. Folk club will be hosted by Nat and Barry, as I am still in the US. I’m sure they’ll take great care of you like always! In the meantime, here is a special message from Dirt Road Orchestra:

“Dear Whangateau friends
Andy Hamilton and the Dirt Road Orchestra are thrilled to be returning to our spiritual home “the Whangateau Folk club”. It will be the first stop on our Drifty Man tour to showcase songs from our new album “Drifty Man”.
It’s been a long labour of love to produce the album, and we are incredibly proud and excited to share it with you.”

The Dirt Road Orchestra has been a moving feast of players over the years and although some old friends have left, the current lineup of brilliant musicians bring a new sonic depth, power and subtlety to Andy’s songs.

Drifty Man is due for release on September 1st and will be available on Spotify and Bandcamp.
